"Joiners" is a method of taking many photographs, or the individual parts, of a subject and piecing the prints together to recreate the scene or person. Use multiple angles to capture all the views and angles of the subject
if there is something in particular that you would like to especially draw out make sure you capture the features that you like about that subject
for instance, if you like your mom's eyes make sure you capture the nuances of her eyes at different angles to highlight those features
There will be a very abstract feel to the image, it will be very cubist and modern
don't worry about getting everything to fit perfectly, they won't
